- The babies are said to be suffering from colic which causes excessive and inconsolable crying and hence keeps the caretakers distressed and deprived of proper sleep.
- Postpartum symptoms include - Sadness, Sleep disoreder, Social withdrawal, Spells of anger, Hopelessness, Feeling inadequate in taking care of the baby, Eating disturbances.
- Typically 5 to 25% of the mothers experience some degree of Postpartum.
